Why Do I Need This?
Many countries are now requiring passengers provide negative COVID-19 test results before they be admitted to a country. This process of verification is likely to grow over the coming months as variants continue to spread.
This need extends beyond travel. Many public events, such as concerts, are now requiring attendees produce negative COVID test results as well.
Access and How it Works!
The GoRev LIMS sends the QR code via text message, email. No special app or download is needed. The patient test result PDF also has the QR code also which is printable and can be quickly accessed in the GoRev patient portal . This ensures your results are readily at your fingertips anytime you need to access them.
A QR code works the same way as a barcode at the supermarket. It is a machine-scannable image that can instantly be read using a smartphone camera.
Our QR code solution is completely HIPAA compliant. We ensure that the airport or immigration agent must verify the patient’s identity before being able to view the results. This ensure that if a QR code is ever lost or stolen, your patient can rest assured that their data is safe from prying eyes.
Once the QR code is scanned, minimal credentials are required to access the Covid-19 test results. We recommend that travelers provide a form of ID so the airport agents to easily access verify their identity.
As the most common purpose for QR code test results is travel, we felt it important that all individuals be able to read and understand our user interface. GoRev allows translation into many languages to ensure there is no confusion during travel.
Currently, there is not a set standard for all airlines and every travel destination. We recommend that each traveler checks with their airline provider for the latest details regarding travel requirements to ensure they fully comply with the latest adherences and avoid being turned away at their destination.
